Sunday in the Park

On Sunday Emma, Lucy and I spent the morning at Mott Park in Holland Park with Aunty Mel and little Harry. We had a great morning - the kids played on the swings, went up AND down the slide (much to the disgust of some the parents!), and explored the playground. Aunty Mel made some delicious sandwiches and even yummier chocolate cupcakes - I even got a candle and beautiful rendition of the "Happy Birthday" song! We had a game of frisbee and delighted in watching a neighbourhood dog chase frogs in the nearby pond.By lunch time we were all worn out, especially the little ones, so we headed back to Grandma and Poppy's for lunch and more birthday cake! Yum!
